Job description
The Problem
The modern workforce— consultants, freelancers, multi-preneurs, digital nomads, DAO contributors, etc —is juggling multiple identities, clients, and time zones. Yet they're stuck using corporate scheduling tools built for 9-to-5 teams with single email domains. Calendly charges $15+/month for basic features. Google Calendar can’t help you when coordinating groups across organizations. Group scheduling tools like Doodle or Lettucemeet require manual link-sharing, manual follow-ups, and manual calendar invites. For people working the new way, booking a group meeting shouldn't require 10 back and forth messages and closing a sale shouldn’t require tons of admin.
We have early traction thanks to our scheduling solution that allows people to integrate many calendar into a single scheduling tool (50-100 weekly active users), and a couple have offered to pay. But we need to crack the code on which specific pain point will drive willingness to pay on-mass.
Your Mission: Find PMF, Then Scale It
As a Business Lead, you'll discover and own the path to revenue and product-market fit. You have a product team building paid meetings functionality (thanks to a grant from Celo and Arbitrum) and soon ready to tackle other features—but the breakthrough requires business leadership to test hypotheses fast, prioritise carefully, talk to users obsessively, and identify the wedge that makes Meetwith a must-have. Critically, the team needs a leader who can raise their head above the fray, plan and execute venture strategy: how and where do we incorporate? what team processes need to change? how do we approach a fundraise or plan cashflow? etc.
In your first 90 days, you'll (1) work with the marketing team and RnDAO venture support to test 2-3 pain-points to validate an ICP and product direction, (2) close 5-10 design partners (early adopters) to prove willingness-to-pay, and (3) define a sustainability strategy for the venture based on runway and burn rate. You'll white-glove onboard early customers, extract brutal-honest feedback, and iterate until scheduling friction disappears. Long-term, you'll scale what works: hiring a sales/ops team, expanding integrations, and positioning Meetwith as the default calendar infrastructure for non-traditional work.
Role & Responsibilities
Strategy
- Lead the PMF discovery process: prioritise together with the team which bets to take, define ICP, pricing, and positioning.
- Oversee finances: monitor cashflow, assess when and if to fundraise based on product traction, and plan budgets.
- Own the team priorities: carefully prioritize work that drive adoption and revenue
- Oversee current product manager/UX designer and marketing manager, elevating execution quality
Revenue & Growth
- Set and hit revenue targets (initial goal: $2K+ your monthly compensation as MRR to extend runway and prove traction for fundraising)
- Execute GTM strategy and build sales engine: from founder-led sales to scalable process
Fundraising & Operations
- Time and plan fundraising or bootstrapping strategy.
- Execute grant applications, fundraising, etc. when and if relevant.
- Scale team strategically: hire marketing/sales when PMF is clear
- Champion useful metrics and effective communication across remote team
Why Join?
Own the upside: Significant co-founder equity in a company with proven tech, a runway, and multiple paths to PMF
Solve a real problem: You've felt the pain of coordinating meetings across gigs, DAOs, or clients—now build the solution
Lean and nimble: $2,700/month burn rate means scrappiness unlocks years of runway. Your $10K angel check or Gitcoin grant goes 10x further here
Remote, async, flexible: Work from anywhere. The team (2 devs, PM, marketing lead) operates distributed already
Mission-aligned: Privacy-first, Web3-native, built for the future of work.
Job requirements
- Evangelist skills: You know how to persuade people, close sales, entice investors.
- Leadership: Can create a vision and develop a sharp strategy, then mobilise the team.
- Customer obsession: oriented to rapid customer discovery, hypothesis testing, and "doing things that don't scale"
- Execution mindset: Bias toward action, comfortable with ambiguity, allergic to analysis paralysis
- Commitment: Ready to dive in as primary business lead (can start part-time for onboarding period but willing to move to full time and stick around for 4-7 years to drive Meetwith to glory)
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous startup/founder experience
- Shipped products and drove sales — ideally in SaaS, scheduling tools, creator economy, or Web3.
- Experience in scheduling/calendar tools or productivity SaaS
- Operated in freelance/consultant ecosystems, or worked across multiple organisations; understand pain points firsthand
- Prior fundraising success (angels, accelerators, or venture capital)
- Thought leadership in future-of-work, digital nomad communities, or creator economy
- Comfortable with Web3 (or eager to learn)
Current Team & Resources
- Team - 2 developers (Udoka full time, Divine part time)
- Junior Product Manager/UX Designer (Patrick)
- Marketing manager (Susana): currently at 50% (can go to 100% if paid more)

- Runway: 8 months, burn rate of $1,900 ($1,800 current team + approx $100 for SaaS)
Commitment & Compensation
- Location: Remote (team is distributed)
- Compensation: Co-founder equity and salary possible depending on fundraising success, extra grants, or revenue growth.
